Just added another tool to the Downloads area. This tool is very useful and will usually get a computer back on the internet if the winsock is the problem.
This is by far the best tool I have used to reset the winsock on Windows XP. It takes all the stuff that I used to do manually and whips into a simple click and run script. I recommend this as a huge timesaver for anyone in the IT industry.
This program is supposed to work on Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows ME as well. Basically use this program on a computer that should be able to get on the internet but can\’t for some reason. If you know that the network card is ok but Windows still won’t allow you to surf the web then it is possible that this program is the one that you have been waiting for.
I have used this program many times lately as a way to fix the winsock after spyware removal botched a system.
This is a portable application and can be ran from a cd or usb drive without having to install it.
